When will my order be shipped?

Unless otherwise noted, orders are typically processed to be packed and shipped out within 2-3 weeks. You will receive the tracking order information once your purchase has been shipped. Please allow for longer shipping times when ordering from outside of the United States.

Books and Brown Sugar Co. is currently an online-based business without a physical storefront. However, we plan to open a physical location in the near future. Stay tuned for updates.

Why was BOOKS AND BROWN SUGAR CO started?

I started this brand after struggling to find bookish products that represented my culture and the books I loved. We’re all about celebrating and sharing our stories and community through powerful books, apparel, and literary events. I am so glad to share our journey with you all! ✨

ORDERS, SHIPPING, & REFUNDS

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final. If you have received a defected item, please email us at info@booksandbrownsugarco.com and provide an image of the merchandise purchased within 14 days of the delivery date. We will be happy to send a new item to you at no cost.

Can I exchange my item?

Unfortunately, we do not accept any returns or exchanges. If your item is in need of replacement, please contact customer care.

How do sizes run?

All items run true to size. In addition, all t-shirt sizes are unisex.

Do you offer gift cards?

Gift cards are a fun and easy way to send a gift to someone when you don't know their size or what design they might want. All gift cards are virtual. A code will be generated and sent to your email, where you can either print it out or forward to the receiver. Gift cards are non-refundable.

Subscription Management & Billing

Shipping & Delivery

Subscription boxes ship quarterly in February, June, September, and December, typically arriving mid-month. You’ll receive tracking information once your box ships. For questions or missing packages, email us at info@booksandbrownsugarco.com with your order number.

Refunds & Returns

Subscriptions are non-refundable, and returns are not accepted due to the personalized nature of our boxes. To avoid renewal charges, cancel before February 1, June 1, September 1, or December 1. Refunds are only available within 72 hours after a renewal charge. For damaged or missing items, contact us within 14 days of delivery.
